SIP music as mp3?

I know this came up in SIP ages ago, but did anyone ever play and record the music from SIP and then save the songs as mp3 files?

I thought the idea was that they would be available on this site, but did that idea drift away?

Someone out there must be able to play a guitar and make mp3's for us all to hear!!

I have a copy of "I Dream of You" in .midi format that I had downloaded from a website:

It's not a bad site, a bit old, but has some neat facts and such. I did a tiny bit of looking for software that could take sheet music and turn it into midi's or mp3s, etc. but got distracted and never followed through with it. I seem to remember Cakewalk Pro Audio being one of the tools I found.
